Achieve the life you want by Winning the Week

Welcome!

A couple of weeks ago, I was in a mastermind group.

It came to my session and we we’re talking about what 2025 looked like for each of us.

And to be honest.

I felt a bit stuck.

On finding the goals for 2025 that truly excite me.

Did I just want a bigger business?

More profit?

More time?

All of it?

They’re all things to strive for but none of it was really exciting me.

How do I choose goals that will bring joy and fulfillment, not just checkboxes on a list?

That’s when Nigel, who runs the mastermind, asked me a question that changed everything:

‘If it were this time next year, what would your ideal week look like’

So lets dig in x

The key is in not spending time, but in investing it

Stephen R Covey

At first, I thought it was a simple question, but the more I thought about it, the more I realised how powerful it was.

Instead of starting with goals, start with your life.

What kind of week would make you feel happy, productive, and fulfilled?

And then work backward to make it happen.

So that’s exactly what I’m doing and I want to help you do the same…

Imagine it’s December 2025. 🎄

What would a happy fulfilling week look like for you?

Take your notepad and think about…

  • Time - How many hours are you working?

  • Tasks - What kind of tasks are you doing? (Creative, strategic, client-focused?)

  • Who - Who are you spending time with?

  • What - How are you spending your week days?

  • You - How are you taking care of yourself (e.g., exercise, hobbies)?

  • Joy - What’s bringing you joy?

I’m literally creating a list from all of the questions above.

And then I’m thinking about….

What do I change between now and then to make it possible?

  • Delegation: What tasks need to be off your plate? Who can take them over?

  • Processes: What systems or processes need to be built to free up your time?

  • Training: Do you need to train someone on your team or hire a new person to handle specific tasks?

  • Boundaries: What boundaries do you need to set to protect your time?

For lots of us - including me - the list is going to be pretty long.

But also.

If feels pretty good to get it all down.

One big list.

To carve up and tackle step by step.

Identifying one change each week that moves you closer to your vision.

And work forwards to your ideal week.

For example….

In MY new ideal week

I would love my Mondays to focus solely on being with my team, Tuesdays with any other additional meetings and calls planned in leaving Wednesday, Thursday and Friday COMPLETELY FREE of any other plans or commitments.

So that I can work on the projects that fire me up and bring me joy.

That would be a truly exciting week for me.

Free to choose what I work on next.

Space and freedom to create.

So with that in mind I’m thinking about the nitty gritty.

Things like:

-I will need to delegate XYZ by June

-I will need to create the processes for ABC by April and hire a new team member by March to take over those responsibilities.

By planning my year around the life I want to live, I feel a lot more connected to my goals.

Goals that are not just productive but also firing me up.

Instead of chasing random goals, you’re creating a life you love, one week at a time

So take 15 minutes this Sunday evening to visualise your ideal week in 2025.

Write it down, dream big, and ask yourself:

What steps do I need to take to make this a reality?

I’d love to hear what your dream week looks like—hit reply and share your vision!
