How to stop feeling like you're not doing enough

Welcome!
âPackingâ is high up there on my list of horrid tasks
If I could pay someone to do it for me.
(Maybe I can?!) đ
I would.
Iâve done a lot of it in the last week.
BUT
We moved back home!
The leak I shared a couple of weeks ago is fixed.
Which feels absolutely momentous as we havenât lived there since last August.
Itâs true what they say about a renovation.
It always takes way longer than you think.
And thisâŚ
Well this is only the first floor weâve finished đ¤Ł
However we have moved back in and we have the ground floor in our sights đ
We celebrated hard on the first night⌠đ
Because if thereâs one thing I know to be true
All progress is not perfect, but it is ALWAYS worth celebrating.

And as we head into the first week of February, I know lots of us will be reflecting.
And for some January didnât go quite as you anticipated.
The big plans from New Year might feel like a distant dream.
But
If youâre feeling off track, donât worry.
Iâve got 3 easy steps to bring you back.
So lets dig inâŚ..
If youâre hard on yourself if things arenât where theyâre meant to be by the end of Jan.
I feel you!
We want to achieve a lot.
But being hard on ourselves continually isnât constructive or helpful.
It drains our energy and quite frankly doesnât give off the abundant vibes we deserve!
So the next time you find yourself cursing that youâre business isnât on track and everyones against youâŚ
Make sure youâve got my 3 steps to progress locked inâŚ..
1. Celebrate the Small Wins
Small wins add up to mighty wins.
When youâre working on a big projectâwhether itâs renovating a house, building a business, or working toward a personal goalâitâs easy to feel like youâre never "done."
Thereâs always another task on the list or another milestone to reach. But if you only focus on whatâs unfinished, youâre missing the momentum of what youâve accomplished.
Moving back home for us feels amazing.
Weâre not finished by a long way.
But Iâm recognising what we have got done and it gives me energy for the rest.
To keep this in your own week, I have a new Friday afternoon habit.
Every Friday, I send a message to my team thanking them for their energy and highlighting every single win that week.
It could be a client breakthrough, a successful project milestone, or even small acts of teamwork.
I end each message with a reminder of where we are in the year, like: "Smashed week 3 of 52!"
Why? Because celebrating weekly wins not only builds motivation, but it also creates a powerful record of progress.
By the end of the year, weâll have 52 weeksâ worth of achievements to reflect on and celebrate.
đŻ Tip for You: Take five minutes this Friday to reflect on your own winsâbig or small. Write them down. Share them with the team if it helps!.
Over time, this habit builds momentum and shifts your focus to the positives, even if youâre feeling behind.
2. Donât over commit
Each day this week I donât want your to do list to have any more than 3 things on it.
Only focus on progressing those and getting them done well.
If you do more - well thatâs a bonus.
We often over commit ourselves.
Finishing a few things on the list and feeling deflated that we didnât get all of the things done
Things that we would never even have had time to do in the first place!
đŻ Tip for You: Choose a maximum of 3 to-doâs each day this week:
Do them well.
Gain momentum from clearing them all down!
If you have time for more thatâs a bonus
Overcommitting drains your energies and we donât need that in our life!
3. Sunday Re-set
Every Sunday (or whatever day works best for you), take 10 minutes to reflect on where you are and reset your focus for the week ahead.
Ask yourself: Whatâs the one most important thing I want to make progress on this week? Write it down and make it your #1 priority.
Make it the thing youâre going to celebrate next Friday.
This keeps you from dwelling on what didnât happen last week and gives you a clear recommitment point
Your goals donât disappear just because January didnât go to plan.
Even if you feel behind, this step gives you a fresh start they every single week.
Instead of waiting for the next âbig momentâ (like next month, next quarter, or next year) to get back on track.
So there you have itâŚ
Celebrate the Small Wins
Donât Over Commit this week
Sunday Re-set
This week can be your best one yet.
Donât be hard on yourself.
Follow the above and enjoy this week.
Youâre doing great.
