Short week this week. (in the UK š¬š§ )
4 days.
Nice.
But also.
One of those weeks where youāre saying:
āI donāt have time!ā
āIām always behindā
āI canāt catch ever catch upā
Whether itās work, job, kids, chaos, clients, emailsā¦..and the list goes onā¦
And if youāre about to even utter āI donāt have timeāā¦
Todays email is for you.
So lets dig in x
āThe difference between successful people and really successful people is that really successful people say no to almost everything.ā
So.
I know now youāre saying ābut actually I donāt have time Emmaā
But before you do I want you to understand this.
Everytime you say it.
Youāre giving away your power.
Youāre relinquishing control of your week.
Your time.
Every time you tell yourself your behind.
Youāre reinforcing a story that doesnāt serve you.
Youāre not powerless.
Youāre just trying to do everything all at once.
And if thereās one thing Iāve learned.
From the past 17 years of my business and interviewing some of the most successful entrepreneurs.
Itās that you canāt do everything all at once.
You can however go all in on a couple of things.
Get laser focussed every week.
And complete the highest priority 3 things.
Yes I could write myself a list of 10 things I must get done this week.
Am I going to get them all done?
No
And in the process Iāll beat myself up for not getting them done.
Tell myself I dont have time
and be in a constant mode of overwhelm
And powerless to what I can control.
But Iām not.
Because on this Monday evening before I hit the working week tomorrow.
Iām deciding on 3 key things Iāll get done by the end of Friday.
The most important.
The needle moving.
And anything else on top of that is a bonus.
Because the magic is in the weekly reps.
Not the highly detailed productivity plan.
The 3 priorities ever week.
And with it comes momentum and power.
That youāre in control of your time
So the next time youāre about to say āI donāt have timeā
Remember.
Itās just that it isnāt the top priority this week.
You do have time.
This week, youāre not behind.
Youāre just busy becoming the version of you who only needs 3 priorities to move mountains
Youāve got this always.
