Focus on the Fun Stuff šļø - Have the Best Week EVER with PAUSE
Welcome!
I got myself an allotment last year š„
When we bought our house I saw one just around the corner.
I had dreams of walking home with baskets of carrots and potatoes.
Pottering about in the sun and a floaty dress.
So I added myself to their waitlist and anticipated waiting years to get one.
Thats the norm so I hear.
Allotments are hard to come by.
Not on my street apparently. š
I was offered one 3 months later.
And when the offer came I had FOMO of letting it go.
Even though I was launching a podcast, training for a marathon, renovating a house and everything else we put on our listsā¦.
So Iām doing my best to learn about seedlings, carrot fly and when I can plant my broad beans outside.
Here she is - Plot 25 - pretty stunning I knowā¦
Well today while I was finally planting out my broad beans š« and I was listening to a podcast with Steven Pressfield.
He wrote the War of Art.
Brilliant book.
A fantastic recommend for anyone that deals with procrastination in doing what you long to do.
Anyhow he was talking about a rule he lives by.
Which I LOVE for anyone that says they dont have enough time to get the thing done.
So lets dig in x
How to Get Big Things Done in Just 1 Hour a Day ā³
Ever feel like youāve got big goalsāwriting a book, launching a podcast, starting that businessābut no time to make it happen?
Yeah, me too.
I used to think I needed whole days set aside to work on big projects.
But actually Steven Pressfield says that you need just one hour a day.
He shared a simple but game-changing concept:
š One focused hour a day = 352 hours a year
š Thatās 9 full 40-hour workweeks
š Thatās how you actually finish things!
Mind. Blown. š¤Æ
Like actually 9 full 40-hour workweeks!
Most of us waste more than an hour a day just scrolling for gods sake!
Answering emails.
Or getting lost in busywork.
But if you protect just one hour a day for deep work on something meaningful, every day.ā¦ you actually make real progress.
š” Want to write a book? 352 hours = A finished manuscript.
š” Launching a podcast? Thatās 9 workweeks to plan, record, and promote it.
š” Starting a business? 352 hours = More than enough time to build something real.
The problem?
We let distractions win.
We tell ourselves weāll do it ālaterā or wait for a ābetter time.ā
We think need to block out a whole week to make a dent.
No more.
š This weekās challenge:
ā
Pick ONE project you want to move forward
ā
Block out 1 hour a dayāno distractions, no excuses
ā
Track your progress for a week
Thatās 7 hours banked before you know it. And if you stick with it? 352 hours later, youāll have built something amazing.
As Steven Pressfield says:
"The most important thing about art is to work.
Nothing else matters except sitting down every day and trying."
Itās time to get started. ā³
Whatās your one-hour project this week?
What are you going to finally make the time for even if it feels messy and difficult and you donāt know what your doing?
Reply and let me know! š
Go win the week!
I am ALWAYS cheering you on

Have you ever finished recording a podcast, webinar, or even a long voice note and thoughtā¦
"Now I have to turn this into content?! Blogs, show notes, social postsā¦ ugh."

At Mi PA, we used to spend hours listening back, pulling out key insights, writing summaries, and trying to turn long-form content into something useful.
But now, thereās an AI tool that does all of this for you in minutesāso you can spend more time creating and less time transcribing.
š¢ Introducingā¦ Castmagic! šāØ
What does it do?
ā”ļø Upload any audio file (podcast, interview, coaching call, webinar, etc.)
ā”ļø Castmagic transcribes it instantly
ā”ļø Thenāhereās the magicāit summarizes it into:

āļø Show notes
āļø Social media captions
āļø Key quotes
āļø Email newsletters
